Try Sailing Day – Saturday 4th October 2008
So you have thought about sailing and never knew how to get on board or whether it was for you.
Then you need to be at the Port Hedland Yacht Club for the ‘Try Sailing Day’.
You will all have the opportunity to sail on any one of the sailing dinghies, yachts or catamarans in the PHYC fleet.
Try Sailing day is open to all ages.
Just bring some wet boots or old sandshoes, sunscreen, hat towel and a change of clothes.

Then you need to be at the Port Hedland Yacht Club for the ‘Try Sailing Day’. This Day marks the start of the sailing calendar for 2008. Feel free to bring your family and friends too.
You will all have the opportunity to sail on any one of the sailing dinghies, yachts or catamarans in the PHYC fleet.

The bar will be open after sailing for refreshments and a late lunch BBQ for participants. The Thai Kitchen will be open for dinner as usual.

The sauasge sizzle was just the treat for the new and old salts returning from the Blessing of the fleet and a short race.
